Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely manner - Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area - Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register - Upsell drink specials and promote new menu items - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred - Strong knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele - Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating drink prices - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of retail math for inventory management and ordering supplies - Familiarity with restaurant or catering operations is a plus - Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required - Must be at least 21 years old Skills:
- Sales skills to upsell drink specials and promote new menu items - Knowledge of retail math for inventory management and ordering supplies - Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is beneficial - Proficiency in operating a cash register for cash handling transactions - Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus - Ability to provide excellent customer service in a hospitality setting Note:
