Job Description We have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Fidelity Institutional Technology Group.
Our team is responsible for designing, developing & implementing products that advance Fidelity customers digital experiences.
Our team uses a variety of technologies, which means we use our current skills and continue to grow in our careers by learning new technologies.
The Expertise Were Looking For Bachelors degree in an Information Technology related field 4
years experience in software application design & development Desired skillset:
Java/J2EE, Spring/SpringBoot, Angular/AngularJS, REST Services, Cloud, deployment technologies, AWS Experience with Agile methodologies Knowledge of continuous integration, static code analysis, test automation and test-driven development The Purpose of Your Role You will be a senior member of a scrum team (made up of other software engineers, software quality engineers and systems analysts) responsible for delivering key customer features.
We are looking for an engineer who is versatile, always eager to take on new problems, share solutions and mentor junior engineers as we push the technology forward You will work closely with the product owner, scrum master, systems analysts, architects, and other developers to design, build, test, and deliver the features that make up the Fidelity Institutional internet experience The Skills You Bring You care deeply about doing outstanding work with best-in-class people You have excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to run with multiple tasks at a given time You thrive in a team environment, collaborating openly with colleagues to deliver on shared goals Desire to provide outstanding product support at all stages, including on-call support, when necessary The Value You Deliver Deliver high quality, timely, cost effective and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements Actively contribute to and evangelize engineering practices such as code and design reviews, source control strategy, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipelines Work with product owner, peer technical leads and architects as required to influence technical improvements to the platform Develop a keen understanding of the business domain and actively participate in technology discussions with business partners and other external parties Investigate creative practices and share them with your team-mates Desire to provide outstanding product support, including on-call support, when necessary How Your work Impacts the Organization The Fidelity Institutional business is embarking on a multi-year strategic initiative to bolster the digital experience and enhance security capabilities for our customers.
